As a Financial Controller you will provide crucial support to our financial operations and play an integral part in the management of our company's finances. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, with a few years of accounting experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

You will be responsible for key operational finance activities, including:

Reviewing and inputting purchase orders and invoices
Monitoring payments and reconcile bank & credit card statements
Tracking treasury movements and contributing to cash flow visibility
Assisting in budgeting, variance analysis, and cost monitoring
Supporting quarter-end and year-end closing & reporting processes
Collaborating with auditors on yearly audit
Proposing and contributing to process improvements
Involved in intercompany transactions and calculations
Working closely with accounting teams on preparing annual accounts
Helping implement new finance tools and digital solutions

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Who you are:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
Proven hands-on experience in accounting
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
Fluent in English and Dutch (written and verbal communication); good knowledge of German is a plus
Proactive and organized with a strong sense of integrity
Familiarity with IFRS is a nice to have
